Operations Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Operations function

What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations, or business support staff
  • Administers and executes policies and procedures
  • Ensures employees operate within guidelines
  • Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers
  • Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers and peer groups at various management levels
  • Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution

Accountabilities

This position is responsible for directly supervising Customer Service staff that are performing order management for the manufacturers supported by the 3PL business. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the staff, supporting their growth and development within the company, assisting with the management of the manufacturers’ accounts and collaborating with the other 3PLS departments.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of related experience (distribution, healthcare)
  • Strong communication skills
  • At least 2 years of experience leading other individuals
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
