  • Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks

Accountabilities

  • Will be doing outbound calls to patients and care partners to support medication adherence
  • Will be assessing barriers to medication adherence and developing action plan to address barriers
  • Education on medication
  • Education on disease
  • Referrals to advocacy and support groups for both patients and care partner
  • Will do follow up calls to assess adherence and understanding of
  • medication regimen
  • Will be taking inbound and outbound calls from patients and care partners
  • Reporting of adverse events, product complaints and intake of request for medical information
  • Faxing of summaries to Health Care Providers regarding barriers to adherence, reported adverse events

Qualifications

  • Undergrad preferred
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in related field preferred
  • Oncology Certification, or obtained within one year of employment (Preferred) recertification and certification cost compensated by company
  • At least 5 years of hospital experience and oncology experience, preferred
  • Current unrestricted Compact RN license in the State of Texas (Required)
  • Must be obtain additional RN licenses in other States; cost is compensated by company (Required)
  • At least one year of telephonic nursing experience, preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish/English, preferred
  • Excellent computer skills; work in various databases, able to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, preferred
