Cardinal Health Cleaning Support Tech I- Day Crew in Norfolk, Nebraska
SHIFT: Day Crew; 7am-7pm 3-4 days/week as noted on calendar. Every other week working a weekend.
Responsible to clean and maintain production areas, interior passageways, offices, lunchroom, restrooms and other designated areas in an orderly condition and in a routine, repetitious fashion as assigned following department's standard operating procedures. Empty trash carts from production areas, sort recyclables and operate balers for compacting cardboard and plastic for recycling.
Clean production areas, passage ways, etc.; i.e., sweep, mop, wax and/or buff floors, wash inside/outside windows. Clean dust and dirt from ceilings, rafters, overhead lights, and machines, must be able to work from heights, etc. Maintain up-to-date documentation as per department procedures.
Consolidate, move and dump trash into designated containers. Operate trash compactor system; move trash to and from area. Clean and maintain trash compactor system as required. Bale cardboard or plastic and tie as needed. Clean and maintain recyclable systems with the option of being trained to grind plastic scrap.
Use a variety of mops, brooms, cleaning supplies, solutions, carts, ladders, power vacuum/cleaning equipment and power driven cleaning equipment. Will require certification to drive power operated equipment as administered by Company personnel i.e. forklifts, scissors lifts, and powered low lifts.
Stock and replenish cleaning supplies used in the plant.
Responsible for observing department’s safety regulations and to use personal protective equipment as required.
Responsible for practicing department’s good manufacturing and housekeeping procedures and complete cleaning verification checklists as required.
Report any unusual circumstances to immediate supervisor and perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Adhere to plant/Corporate policies/procedures, department safety and environmental aspect and impact controls, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ISO 13485 Standards.

- High School Diploma, GED or 1-3 months related work /training experience required
- 0 - 6 months previous work experience required
