Cardinal Health Inside Sales Manager, EMEA in Dublin CAH Office, Ireland

We are looking for a skilled sales Manager who will be responsible for managing a team of ‘Inside Sales’ professionals, driving initiatives to achieve the company’s sales and profitability goals and enhance customer satisfaction through the Inside Sales channel. Successful candidates will have inside sales leadership experience with the ability to develop a strategic plan for the Inside Sales team and drive implementation through flawless and effective execution. This leader will also have a strong business acumen and the ability to work in a highly matrixed organization, working closely with the country sales and marketing organisations to achieve common goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the Inside Sales team in developing and implementing plans, objectives that drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Develops and refines sales methodologies that improve effectiveness and directs the team in the training, implementation and ongoing development of those methodologies.
  • Identify key performance measurements that the sales organization will focus on to drive continued improvement and the success of the organization.
  • Creates annual strategic and operating plans for the department presenting recommendations to the Medical Solutions leadership team.
  • Works with finance and analytics to prepare monthly business reviews, forecasts, and action plans for the team and presents them to the Patient Recovery leadership team.
  • Works with commercial support functions to ensure the facilitation of the Inside Sales approach through the use of specific remote selling technologies.
  • Works with European and country marketing teams to develop programs to drive the sales of Inside Sales products and monitors outcomes.
  • Supports an open communication environment to assure positive employee morale and effective conflict resolution.
  • Drives change by focusing on organizational effectiveness and development.
  • Manages and provides leadership including training, work assignments, and performance evaluations.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate business experience.
  • Proven experience in running a sales organization, preferable with experience across multiple geographies.
  • 5 years of inside sales/account management experience with proven ability to manage and lead teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of planning, directing, and supporting a team in all areas of sales activity – KPI development, lead generation.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence outcomes in shared decision areas.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Understands business intelligence processes and programs and the ability to utilize data to make strategic decisions.
  • Proven ability to develop customer retention programs, ie renewals.
  • Flexible, adaptable team player with initiative to contribute creative input and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and creative problem-solving activities.
