Cardinal Health Data Marketplace/Big Data Developer in Dublin, Ohio

The Data Market team is responsible for creating a data platform which will be used by the Analytics communities within Cardinal Health. The goal of the Data Marketplace is to provide the analytics community with a self-service platform where the community can bring value to the company through having a single source of trusted data. This position will be part of creating frameworks and patterns to build the self-service platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years experience in JAVA programming
  • Experience implementing and interacting with RESTful web services
  • 2+ years in Data Management Skills (SQL)
  • XML knowledge
  • Agile methodology experience is a plus
  • Experience with automated build and dependency management tools - e.g. Maven/Gradle
  • Hands on analytical tool skills preferred
  • Experience developing creative and innovative analytical insights with high business value preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
  • Strong focus on business outcomes
  • AWS/GCP Cloud experience is a plus
