Accountabilities in this role

This position is part of the Data Integration team whose objective and responsibility is to provide platform administration, new build delivery and Production support within the Data Integration space. Data Integration will move and transform data across the Enterprise and to the cloud leveraging the Shared Services model for economies of scale and resource optimization, with a focus on customer service and quality deliverables. Apart from day to day support, person will be of part core team to enhance and implement new DEVOPS functionalities of Data Integration solutions.

  • Able to learn new technologies quickly and apply best practices across all platforms
  • Develop, test, maintain and support required applications and technologies
  • Support can include monitoring, root cause analysis and repairs
  • Must work with other programmers, designers, architects and other IT teams to ensure delivered software meets requirements and performance goals
  • Ability to recognize and implement opportunities for improvement with existing processes
  • Work with clients to find and resolve production issues, find root cause, and implement solutions based on analysis
  • Assist in testing, training, and preparation for operations
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
  • Ability to code and script
  • Experience with infrastructure and platform systems and IT operations
  • Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
  • Strong grasp of automation tools
  • Data management skills
  • A strong focus on business outcomes
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
  • Prepare necessary documentation for configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance of the environment
  • Partners with Enterprise Architecture teams for product selection and product capability roadmaps and information governance processes.
  • Experience with various project management methodologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in related field preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of hardware configuration, installation, and maintenance
  • Experience working on multiple platforms and/or with multiple middleware methodologies
  • Deep competency in one or more data integration platforms preferred
  • Breadth in multiple data integration platforms preferred
  • Experience in cloud to cloud integration preferred
  • Java scripting a plus
