Cardinal Health Manager, Commercial Analytics in Dublin, Ohio

As Manager of Commercial Analytics, reporting to the Director of Commercial Analytics , you will help design and drive the analytics and data governance execution plan. You’ll work with the Director and CIMS Data management teams to help us deliver market-leading analytics products and services to customers, drive standardization and profitability of our data products. You’ll make strong contributions to Cardinal Health’s top-line and bottom-line business success.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide strategic recommendations to maximize the value of existing information assets via their creation, access and use
  • Helps build out the new CIMS cutting edge analytics product strategy including market input, thought leader input, requests/requirements, project sizing and sequencing, and design/evaluation and plan
  • Influence information architecture by partnering with cross functional teams
  • Responsible for setting up analytics infrastructure, in partnership with other teams as needed
  • Responsible for execution of special projects including program management, reporting, and deliverables
  • Supports development of global product tree architecture, shared tools, and product tree-related Engineering improvements as it relates to the analytics suite
  • Tracks and analyzes competitive activities and market developments to guide development efforts, in conjunction with Marketing and Cardinal Health Data and Analytics resources.
  • Persuades others into agreement in sensitive situations while maintaining positive relationships

Qualifications:

  • This position requires an Advanced degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years’ experience in related field (analytics)
  • Requires at least one of the following demonstrated experience sets: Technical analytics, business intelligence, data science, and/or outcomes research, data governance and structure
  • Stellar conceptualization skills – demonstrated ability to visualize complex concepts in a way that drives understanding and decision-making
  • Stellar communication skills. Able to bring business and technical people together around clear product concepts, and motivate them to deliver whole, working solutions
  • Travel required – approximately 20%
  • Healthcare experience a huge plus with emphasis on applied outcomes research. Or work in related segments surrounding supply chain, inventory management, or product utilization
  • Demonstrated cross-functional project experience, including stakeholder engagement with sales, marketing, operational and technical functions
  • Agile experience: strong partnering with Engineering related to roadmap planning and strategy
