What Sales Development Prgm (SDP) contributes to Cardinal Health

12 month track preparing for a sales position in the Retail/Independent Sales Force responsible for increasing customer satisfaction, winning new business and meeting sales goals. The program includes experience in the field with sales consultants, training with sales operations and marketing staff, course work and tests, and projects. Upon completion the individual interviews for consultant positions, potentially near any of 20 distribution centers in the US, and makes a 2 year commitment to that position. Placement in a position upon completion of the SDP rotation is not guaranteed; participant must interview for the sales positions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree, preferred
  • 0 - 2 years of general business experience
  • Strong planning and time management skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong math skills
  • Customer service, problem solving and analytical skills required
  • Willing to relocate to Dublin, OH area for the approximately 12 month training rotation. 50% travel while in the program.
  • Willing to relocate after Dublin based training rotation potentially to anywhere in the United States.
