Cardinal Health Senior Advisor, Enterprise Risk Management & Business Continuity in Dublin, Ohio

Compliance with the laws and regulations is a fundamental Cardinal Health operating principle and a key component to ensuring Cardinal Health’s goals of providing quality to patient care while reducing costs and enhancing efficiency. The Ethics and Compliance Department ensures that policies and procedures are maintained, reviewed, revised and updated to prevent illegal, unethical or improper conduct.

  • Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
  • May contribute to the development of policies and procedures

  • Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives

Accountabilities:

  • Ability to interact withsenior levels of executiveleadership
  • Identification of risks through business leader and group interviews
  • Facilitation and management of work teams for risk mitigation
  • Lead table-top exercises for business unit continuity planning
  • Audit Business Continuity Plans against corporate standards
  • Manage corporate system for retention of Business Continuity plans
  • Advance continuity planning by identifying and leveraging internal and external best practices
  • Ensure accurate and timely representations to the government to support US Government contracting requirements
  • Audit Business Processes for compliance to Government FARs/DFARs…etc.
  • Attention to detail, data & analysis
  • Management and support of risk databases
  • Report generation for management review
  • Other duties as requested and defined by business needs

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Business or Science or related field
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills
  • Prior business consulting experience a plus
  • Experience contracting with Federal Government a plus
  • Business Continuity certifications (from DRI, BCI) a plus
  • Proficiency with MS SharePoint and MS Access preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
