Cardinal Health Strategic Growth Executive, NPS in FL, United States
This strategic individual contributor has responsibility to lead, direct and enhance critical relationships with Nuclear Pharmacy Services’ Midwest portfolio of Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and independent hospitals. This role serves as a liaison between the Strategic Growth and Foundational sales teams and will ensure best practices are followed and strategies are aligned.
As the lead contract negotiator and relationship builder for a myriad of IDNs, this director will use his/her acumen, demonstrated persuasive communication ability and strategic, solution-oriented approach to maintain, develop and grow sales.In addition, this individual will possess an ability to navigate matrixed organizations and complex sales cycles while delivering high-touch, white glove service.
Understand, competitively position and clearly communicate Nuclear Pharmacy Services’ value proposition to appropriate audiences, including but not limited to c-suite, sourcing/procurement directors and clinical call points
Lead, direct and grow large, territory-centric accounts.
Clinically differentiate products and services to win business from competitors
Create valuable, win-win relationships with target audiences
Manage complex negotiation processes with Cardinal Health’s Midwest portfolio of IDNs and independent hospitals; serve as an internal strategic advisor
Work with local Foundational sales teams to foster mutually beneficial relationships and align resources
In-depth functional expertise and broad business knowledge; applies expertise to develop and achieve strategic financial and operational objectives
Influence customer and/or organizational leadership through effective listening and communication to accomplish objectives
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of assigned customer's successes, challenges, and strategic objectives; draw from financial acumen and the use of analytics to recognize and provide advice regarding potential opportunities and risks
Professionally represent Nuclear Pharmacy Services at trade association meetings to promote the company’s products and services
Position Qualifications and Attributes
Bachelor's degree in a related field or commiserate experience; graduate degree preferred
Minimum 8 years healthcare sales, complex account and relationship management experience
Ability to successfully endure different sales cycles
Excellent planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skills
Self-starter; able to determine, independently, solutions that ensure business objectives are achieved within acceptable tolerances
Demonstrated matrix management skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams
Executive presence and solid presentation and communication capabilities
Ability to travel 50+ percent
