What Quality Control contributes to Cardinal Health

Quality control is responsible for the analysis or inspection of products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards.

  • Demonstrates detailed oriented attention in all facets of responsibilities.
  • Performs analytical evaluation or test of products or processes.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of testing methods, product usage, and applicable regulations and standards.
  • Adheres to established policies and procedures while establishes test methodologies
  • Provides technical guidance and training to others on SOPs and quality guidelines.
  • Performs quality control inspections; checks before, during and after the manufacture of products
  • Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production
  • Records observations and makes recommendations for improving processes
  • Upholds a close working relationship with production management and fellow team members
  • Assist in incoming product inspections & oversees final inspection

  • Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
  • Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma/GED required
  • Technical Degree or Certification, strongly preferred
  • Preferred experience using calipers, micrometers & scales
  • Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, preferred
