Product Flow Specialist ‚Äč Job Description

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for the process of locating Stock, Keeping units in the correct warehouse storage medium, ensuring efficient material throughout for facility based on velocity, item movement and customer demand. May also assist with other duties as assigned, (e.g. Replenishment, Cycle Count, Receive, Stock, Pick, Pack, Ship)

Accountabilities:

  • Running and maintaining Stock location reports ( e.g. velocity resets, NLC Max QOH to primary)
  • Entering Data ( e.g., Unit profiling, Item maintenance, location/area maintenance, and all other inventory functions)
  • Stock Keeping Item movement/relocation
  • Reporting ( e.g. Profile checklist, Warehouse Area utilization, Warehouse Area efficiency tracking/trending)
  • Secondary Distribution assignments as needed ( e.g. Replenishments)
  • Distribution assignments assigned on an as needed basis, ( e.g. Cycle Count, Out Date pulls, Stock Rotation, New Item Maintenance/Set up, Stocking, Receiving, Pick, Pack, Ship)
  • Report to Director of Operations the current status of site metrics and action planning
  • Work with software engineer to test and pilot software changes
  • Work with corporate engineer on facility layout

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 2-3 years of distribution warehouse experience
  • Alternate Inventory Management System proficient
  • Experience with Inbound & Quality Inventory Control
  • Microsoft Office Proficient
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and have the ability to work independently and make decisions demonstrating good judgment.
  • Strong Analytical skills, Detail Oriented, Mathematically Inclined
  • Travel 5%
