What Transportation contributes to Cardinal Health

Transportation is responsible for the movement of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing and the customer. Management of transportation assets and systems to gain greater service, cost efficiency and optimization of processes.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Accountabilities in this role

  • Manage day to day delivery of products and totes
  • Managing the relationship between couriers, sales team, and the customers
  • Creating complex delivery routing structures and communicating those delivery times
  • Troubleshooting mis-deliveries
  • Auditing internal adherence to transportation guidelines
  • Auditing courier performance and driver adherence to security rules
  • Customer service and communication
  • Travel 30% yearly basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required
  • 1-3 years experience
  • Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
