What R & D Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health

Research and Development Engineering is responsible for developing and implementing new products through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering and documentation practices.

Job Descriptions

This individual will responsible for performing testing on disposable medical devices and their components. Responsibilities also include assisting in development of the test method, documenting test methods, and tracking samples and recording of all data per standard practices.

Accountabilities

  • Application of acquired knowledge and skills to complete product testing per defined methods and protocols
  • Assist in the development of test methods
  • Assemble/test prototype samples
  • Perform basic statistical analysis of results
  • Basic investigation of anomalies and failures
  • Documenting all activities in a lab notebook

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required, associates degree preferred
  • 2 or more years related work experience required
