Cardinal Health Agile Project Manager in Houston, Texas

We are seeking a Project Manager with Agile experience to join our expanding Commercial Technology team in Houston, TX. Reporting to the Development Manager, this role manages Cardinal Health's data feed and product platform. The successful candidate will be a seasoned project manager with significant client interaction and delivery experience. The role requires an analytical, consultative, and curious mind to drive success in this role.

The Agile Project Manager will:

  • Must have hands-on experience and a thorough understanding of agile software development
  • Lead one or more Agile development groups in the successful design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications
  • Manage technology vendor relationships and hold them to Cardinal Health standards of performance
  • Monitor and manage proactive maintenance to application platform environments
  • Document and manage SOPs for software and information platform systems
  • Manage the design, build and maintenance of EDI interfaces and other data integration elements of EDI
  • Interface with business solution teams and partners on operational platform events as well as solution design needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years experience in IT related field preferred
  • Certified Scrum Master with 3+ years of Agile management experience
  • 3+ years vendor management
  • Must have experience in data integration with EDI systems
  • Healthcare strongly preferred
  • Consulting experience is a plus
  • Project management experience; highly organized and process-driven
  • Financial acumen and experience in build and run settings recommended
