The Field Solutions Coordinator directly supports information requests and inquiries from our client’s and their field contacts in accordance with the program business rules and HIPAA regulations. This position is also responsible for supporting Healthcare Provider requests for additional assistance toward patient referrals and to investigate and address any access to therapy concerns.

  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
  • Mediate effective resolution for complex payer/pharmacy issues toward a positive outcome
  • Proactive follow-up with various contacts to ensure patient access to therapy
  • Demonstrate superior customer support talents
  • Prioritize multiple, concurrent assignments and work with a sense of urgency
  • Must communicate clearly and effectively in both a written and verbal format


  • Minimum of HS diploma; additional education preferred
  • Experience conducting and documenting patient health insurance benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeals using the Sonexus ™ Access and Patient Support database and web tools is a must
  • Previous experience addressing and resolving customer escalations is a must
  • Must be comfortable presenting information to and in front of clients
  • Knowledge of the Health Insurance Market Place and the Affordable Care Act preferred
  • Knowledge of Medical/Pharmacy billing and coding is preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel is preferred
  • Important to have a strong attention to detail
  • Some travel may be required (5%)
