What Territory Management - Dist contributes to Cardinal Health

Territory Management is responsible for cold calling, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a specified product line, business segment and/or geography. Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts.

Accountabilities

  • Management of overall region performance for sales and service of laboratory distribution
  • Meet Operating Earnings targets/Quota achievement
  • Management of Selling, General & Administrative expense (SG&A) budget (expense management)
  • Sales representative development and training
  • Manage & enhance key customer relationships
  • Support & execute business unit initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • graduate degree preferred
  • Min 6 years sales experience, preferred
  • Ability to travel overnight 50%
  • Strong planning, forecasting, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Laboratory sales experience preferred
