What Field Sales Admin/Ops Cnlst contributes to Cardinal Health:

The Inside Sales Operational Teammate acts as a member of an integrated team who works in partnership with sales representatives, other sales support functions and sales and marketing leadership to accelerate growth and ensure an overall positive customer experience. Responsible for developing, quantifying and evaluating the transformation of internal and external information into business intelligence (includes: data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics management and reporting) and, for identifying, creating and implementing processes that profitize, optimize and support the Inside Sales organization (includes: customer contract implementation, contract compliance, strategic sales resource deployment, on-boarding and basic training) to support the strategic objectives of the sales organization, drive operational excellence and maximize contract value.

Accountabilities

The Inside Sales Operational Teammate (OT):

Prepares and maintains Cardinal Health Brand conversion opportunities

 In-service by demonstrating product applications, functionality and use both in-person and remote through web-based technologies

Assist with Sales and Marketing projects and initiatives, including: GPO compliance and pricing proposals/notifications, distributor programs, discontinued products/substitution projects, cross referencing, and sample product preparation, shipment and allocation

 Participate in outbound customer call campaigns

Maintain current customer records for sales activity within CRM platform

Utilize remote selling strategies such as booking appointments over the phone and email; Leverage technologies and tools such as email, phone, webex, video conferencing and Skype to accelerate sales

 Maintain knowledge of the current industry/competitive landscape including GPO’s, healthcare economics, reimbursement, competitors and competitive products, etc.

 Provides open territory coverage

 Provides sales pre-call assistance via targeting opportunities, reporting, and projects

 Provides sales post-call assistance with sample shipment, customer training, sales compliance reporting and projects

 Works proactively with sales on pipeline advancement and billing date management in Salesforce.com

 Post-won activities will include pricing verification, submitting new and lost business maintenance, and general monitoring of inventory levels for customer order readiness notification

 Compiles non-acute customer facing documents such as Business Reviews, savings analysis

 Provides support for pricing questions and resolution

Qualifications

 Bachelors degree preferred

 Training and/or experience in marketing and/or sales preferred

 Position requires organized, detail-oriented individual with the ability to multi-task, establish priorities and the ability to work independently

 Customer focus, problem solving and analytical skills required

 Microsoft Office software capable in Word, Excel and Power Point is required; experience with CRM platforms preferred

 Excellent written/verbal communication skills

 Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions and tradeshows as directed

 Overnight travel required for attendance at regional and divisional events including customer meetings and presentations, customer education, training meetings and sales meetings
