What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Account Management is responsible for managing the success of the relationship with an assigned set of customers in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Responsible for long-term relationship building between the customer, Cardinal Health, and other professional organizations. The complexity of the solution, product, or services offered is variable and can range from simple to moderately complex selling.

Accountabilities

This role is responsible for managing key customer relationships within Home Healthcare Solutions (a division of Cardinal Health At Home) utilizing multiple levels of engagement (middle management, clinical, c suite, etc). Key success drivers are customer retention and profitability expansion. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, and possesses strong interpersonal skills, a results- driven orientation and the ability to influence others.

  • Serve as a consultative liaison with customers to meet their objectives
  • Expand the value of customer relationships, maintain optimal communication and provide value to the relationship
  • Know customers and be responsive to requests
  • Drive web ordering adoption and other key initiatives (dashboards, CAH brand)
  • Active prospecting & ability to pull-through and close additional business
  • Ability to manipulate data and analyze in a way that drives key insight discovery for customers
  • Presentation skills required for quarterly review presentations, etc.
  • Ability to develop relationships with C-Suite executives and cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Min 2 to 3 years of sales experience
  • Data analysis and financials/profitability analyses
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Healthcare industry experience/knowledge preferred (ex- health insurance or relationship management/ sales)
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Valid driver's license
