What Collection contributes to Cardinal Health

Collections is responsible for the collection of customer accounts receivable, credit hold decisions, and the development and negotiation of payment plans.

Shift: M-F 9am-6pm or 8:30am-5:30pm; can be somewhat flexible

Accountabilities

  • High call volume position, making 45-60 outbound calls per day after training is complete.
  • Managing a territory of business' and managing their orders, processing orders, settling pricing disputes with internal teams/departments and sending invoices to the business.
  • Following up with the business to make sure invoices were received and taking payments or processing payments.
  • Determining if orders can be released based on the customer's past due status.
  • Managing orders that are passed due.
  • Taking incoming calls (5-10 calls a day) from customers regarding statements, invoices copies, payments and processing payments.
  • Basic Excel and Microsoft skills
  • Working with and building relationships with the business' to ensure proper customer service and provide updates on orders due to payment status.
  • ***This is not patient to patient collections, this is business to business. Must provide great customer service to customers with a goal of obtaining payment information and processing customer orders.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years experience in related field
