Cardinal Health Graphic Designer, Communications in Vaughan, Canada

Cardinal Health Canada is currently seeking a Graphic Designer to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis to sit in our headoffice in Vaughan, Ontario.

This position coordinates a variety of communications and administrative efforts through a combination of methods. Responsibilities include: in-house graphic design for print and electronic media, using Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office; assisting with events; and providing general administrative support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work as in-house graphic designer, applying corporate identity standards to marketing and corporate materials
  • Work with Communications team to create, distribute and post communications
  • Variety of administrative and Communications-related (e.g. taking photographs, assisting with promotional items, trade shows) tasks

EDUCATION/TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • A business or communications-related degree/diploma from a recognized institution
  • Experience in communications, or equivalent and transferable experience
  • Expert level and 2-5 years’ professional experience in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience using InDesign and Photoshop
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • HTML and CMS
  • Email merges
  • Experience with product catalogues and product labeling an asset
  • Understanding of events and trade shows an asset
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately
  • Self-starter; able to work both in a team environment and independently
  • Strong language and proofreading skills; attention to detail

ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bilingualism is preferred
  • Must have a portfolio of work that demonstrates experience
